My Story
Hi, I'm Mystic—
First of all, please bookmark this page so that—if this is as far as you read—you can come back to the guided meditation above whenever you need to reconnect with what matters.

I spent 25 years leading design and creative work in tech and advertising—most recently working in electric vehicle design, and previously launched many brands, including the Oprah Winfrey Network, and led design for a small startup that reached a billion-dollar acquisition with 35 million customers.

On paper, I had it all.
Big title. Big money. Big impact.

But behind the scenes, I was burned out.
Disconnected from what really mattered.
No time or energy left for my family, my music, or my art.

Somewhere along the line, I’d forgotten who I was.
So, who was I?

I’ve been a lifelong meditator and seeker, and recently discovered something.
Making money and making art don't have to be separate pursuits.

I graduated in '99 with an art degree. I never really wanted to be anything else.
It turns out, we can express ourselves creatively, spiritually, authentically, and artistically and be rewarded for the gifts we give others in that act.

I like to think of it as
"Artistic Commerce."

I believe Artistic Commerce is what we're meant to engage in in midlife—once we've spent enough time learning who we're not to start getting a sense of who we really are.
It’s about weaving the skills you’ve developed through your career with the wisdom life has given you, and expressing that integration in a way only you can—while offering real value to others.

It might also involve giving your gifts in ways you haven't even discovered yet.
When you start approaching your work this way, you'll end up needing an assistant to manage your waitlist.
I bet your dad didn't model business as a spiritual practice—and as your soul’s greatest expression.

That's why I created Kumara—a method to help all of us stop chasing, start creating, and build soul-aligned lives of purpose and fulfillment.
I practice Kumara daily while working on multiple startups, navigating family life, and engaging in my passions including writing, art, music, and travel.

Kumara gives you back your time because you will get into flow while working and find you are more capable than you ever realized.

The guided meditation above is just a small taste of Kumara, and I hope you enjoyed it.

The Full Program is a self-guided 2-week experience, that you can start today.
We spend 2 days diving deeply into each step of Kumara, so you can internalize the process deeply. The program is self-guided, and consists of 5 modules which can be completed in 30 minutes each, and with optional deeper practices you can dive into on subsequent passes.

I'm always updating the material of Kumara, and adding additional teachings and practices, and by purchasing it once, you'll receive all future updates.

Can you tell me exactly what I'm getting into?

Of course. Here's an overview of each of the 5 modules of the program—based on each of the 5 steps introduced in the guided meditation above.

Step 1: Align With Your Desired Outcome

You’ll get clearer than you’ve ever been on what you truly want—not just in your work, but in every dimension of your life. You’ll learn how to define a soul-aligned vision, step into the version of you who already has it, and begin moving forward with the kind of energy that creates results without the grind. This is where alignment begins—and everything else flows from here.

Step 2: Remember Who You Are

You’ll realize that the confidence, clarity, and power you’ve been chasing aren't somewhere out ahead of you—they’ve been inside you all along. The teachings in this module will help you strip away the noise of who you’ve been told to be, so you can reconnect to the essence of who you already are. From here, your work stops feeling like performance—and starts feeling like truth.

Step 3: Feel The Lake
The teachings in this module guide you back to deep stillness—the kind that anchors you no matter what’s happening around you. You’ll receive calming practices and meditations of different lengths that you can return to anytime. But this isn’t about bypassing what’s hard. You’ll also learn how to face resistance with honesty and compassion—so it no longer blocks your path, but becomes part of your power.

Step 4: Act in Alignment With The River
The teachings in this module help you take the kind of action that actually moves you forward—not through effort, but through clarity. Most people work too hard because they’re unclear on what truly matters. You’ll learn how to recognize intuitive guidance and inspired ideas—the kind that lead to meaningful momentum, not just busywork.
This helps you avoid the trap of chasing ideas that drain your energy and leave you spinning your wheels. Instead, you’ll act with precision, creativity, and flow—and get more done by doing less.

Step 5: Enjoy Yourself
The teachings in this module are about remembering what most of us were never taught: you're meant—as Joseph Campbell said—to follow your bliss. When you align with what feels good, you naturally do your best work, attract aligned opportunities, and create real success without burning out. This is where Kumara becomes more than a method—it becomes a way of living that feels like freedom, fulfillment, and flow.
